Every millimetre mattered.The commission
A small home asking a great deal of its furniture.
In a footprint where every movement and storage decision mattered, Joe Grande was commissioned to make bespoke furniture for the redesigned interior.
The furniture was developed around the unusual scale of the home, supporting daily life through considered proportions, integrated function and a calm material presence.
Joe Grande's involvement was limited to the furniture elements. The wider redevelopment was led by property developer Robin Swailes.
